May 1 Danielle + Ryan | Sundy House

There is always a special amount of joy that comes from seeing two people you know commit to forever. When Danielle contacted me, her name and her fiancé’s name looked incredibly familiar. I had met them a few times through friends and had always found their relationship to be incredibly solid and effortless, plus they were Florida State alumni like me (and my whole family), creating a stronger bond than most would realize. When Danielle decided to hire me as her floral designer and month of coordinator for her wedding day I was thrilled! Designing for a couple I know is always rewarding in a different way - especially when you know a quarter of the wedding party and they welcome you with expressive hugs even though you haven’t seen each other in over 2 years.

From the emotional tear-filled vows between two people who truly know each other inside and out and respect every ounce of that, to the Tomahawk Chop on the dance floor, it was a spirited evening brimming with love, family, and lifelong friends who just wanted to dance and enjoy a weekend away with their favorite people.
