When you grow up in a small town, and then continue to live and work right down the street from that small town you're bound to eventually run into someone from high school - maybe even do the florals for their wedding. After a few emails back and forth, Danae and I eventually made the connection that we attended Atlantic High School together a few years back, which made designing for her and Ricky just that much more special and memorable.
Blanca and Ryan's wedding day was filled with so much dreamy romance. Social House was completely transformed from a coworking space to an elegant and whimsical reception for their closest friends and family. Blanca and Ryan wanted to keep things intimate and simple. We scattered small blush and white arrangements down two long rows of tables, created a whimsical vine wall behind their sweetheart table, and cafe lights were strung turning an inside space into a garden cafe.
In a world of white and blush weddings, these little editorial shoots give the creative soul a nice refresh. Blue flowers don't have to be cheesy and unnatural feeling, deep shades of mustard can be feminine and fresh, and the beach can be the most beautiful backdrop. I'm so in love with how all of these colors and textures play together.
