Emilie + Michael | The Flagler Museum
Emilie + Michael recently celebrated their two year anniversary, so I thought it might be fitting to finally share their wedding day! This wedding changed my career. Emilie and Michael came to me after hiring my favorite planning friend, Desiree. They were tying the knot at my favorite historic venue, The Flagler Museum and her style was right in line with the florals I loved. It truly was as if the stars aligned. Emilie and her family trusted me with her vision very early in my own floral journey. I was relatively new to the flower game, and only had a few floral clients on board at the time. Emilie’s vision opened me up to play with color and movement. She allowed me the freedom to design and I truly believe that’s when the best results spring up. She didn’t corner me into using a select few florals, so I was able to go to the market that day and select items that were different and freshly cut, but still in line with her style. She pushed me to expand my team and lead a larger team than I had before. I learned a lot. I adjusted a lot. There’s no doubt in my mind that my business is better, and I’m better because of Emilie and Michael’s wedding. Forever thankful to the Amaro family for pushing me, inspiring me, and helping me feel as though I belonged in this floral design world.
