There's something so sentimental and classic about a beach wedding, and this shoot was no exception. We wanted the florals to be loose and romantic while still speaking to the natural beauty of the ocean and it's surroundings. Every creative involved truly embraced the vision and brought so many beautiful moments to the day.
The first time Melissa and I met we grabbed a cup of tea and I still remember sitting there and feeling like we had been friends for ages. She's just my kind of girl. We talked about how she met her boyfriend Chris, which was quickly followed up with, "we're not getting engaged anytime soon". Low and behold about two months later I get a text and it's a picture of her finger with a new shiny sapphire and diamond accessory. Chris clearly had other plans.
Designing for our clients is always an adventure and a rewarding journey. But designing for a family member, for your sister, that is about as rewarding as it gets. Carey asked for fall inspired colors that were refined and brought the surrounding gardens into their historic colonial venue at the Williamsburg Inn.
We stumbled upon our house while driving around Lake Worth. We saw an open house sign and went for it. Next thing I knew, we were home owners and I couldn't wait to fill this 1950's gem with unique midcentury modern pieces. After 2 years our home finally feels like a reflection of our style and we were fortunate enough to have Lauren Louise Photography snap a few shots while she was in town.
Jen and Rob were that reminder that this is what I love to do. Pinning Rob's boutonnière on, seeing Jen's face light up when she held her bouquet, and having them notice the little details that made their wedding day florals uniquely them. Those moments are everything.
When I first spoke with Amy about her wedding day vision we clicked. She was a bold, elegant, and design-focused bride who lived in California and was coming home to Florida to celebrate with her closest friends and family. Amy and I share a deep love for flowers and together we pulled an eclectic mix of bright and moody blooms to accent her wedding day.
Let me tell you, Mollie, Brett, and Camille have been nothing but incredible and so when they asked me to provide floral details and vintage rentals for Mollie's upcoming bridal shower I was thrilled! Mollie's shower was hosted at Social House, our home away from home, and it was like two families I love coming together for a holiday, or dare I say - like a wedding.
